In a survey conducted by the Pony Express News, pasta was the best food to eat for Valentine’s, and Olive Garden was voted the best local restaurant for Valentine’s.
According to ChatGPT, about 41% of people celebrating Valentine’s Day in 2025 planned to eat at home instead of going out to a restaurant. But about 60% of people are expected to go out to a restaurant for a special Valentine’s Day meal, while 35% of people are more likely to order takeout or delivery from restaurants instead.
We asked some students mixed questions about Valentine’s Day, like how they feel about a split bill and what is the best thing to do for Valentine’s.
“Yes, because we’re both in a relationship and it’s Valentine’s Day for both of us,” senior Emily Herrera said.
Emily says that it is a good idea to split the bill on Valentine’s, but we wondered what was the best thing to do on February 14.
“I think the best thing to do on Valentine’s Day is being with my boyfriend,” senior Emily Herrera said.
Emily is planning on having a nice Valentine’s, but now we wanted to see a boy’s point of view on what is the best thing to do.
“The best thing to do is spending time with my girlfriend,” sophomore Nico Pitufo said.
Nico plans to enjoy this special day with his girlfriend. This time we asked a guy about a split bill.
“I don’t like a split bill because I find it more traditional,” teacher Daniel Buster said.
Valentine’s Day has many things to do to celebrate love, but the most important one is spending time with the people who matter most.

I love how many perspectives were given in this report. Each of them was unique and it showed how valentine’s day is different for everybody when choosing places to eat at.

I like how they were expressing their opinion on Valentine’s Day. In other words I would like to hear more of teachers point of view in Valentine’s Day.

The report is good since it gives a look of how different generations see Valentine’s Day. What I really liked of the report was when it says that whether you eat out or stay in, being with someone you care about is what matters the most.

I liked the insight on what different grade levels had to say about Valentine’s Day it was very well said. However, for future improvement perhaps add the perspectives of some staff as well. It’d be nice to hear from everyone.
