The majority of students say their teachers are very helpful at school.
According to Google, teachers provide essential support to students, serving as instructors, mentors, and advocates who help with academic, emotional, and social development. In a quick, random survey of ten students, seven said that teachers help them a lot.
“My teacher has helped me a lot throughout the hard moments, and they motivate me to keep working hard,” senior Jaylin Duarte said.
Sometimes teachers help other teachers as well.
“I help by going into their class to talk to their teacher to make sure they’re doing okay in that class. If I need to talk to them outside of class, I also give extra support by checking their grades, reminding them of their homework or missing work, and even helping them study for an exam,” special education teacher Anthony Asay said.
