In a student poll conducted by Morton Pony Express News, Downtown Chicago was named the best place to go of 2025. In a random survey of 100 Morton East students, 34% selected Downtown Chicago as the best of last year. According to Expatjourneylife.com, Millennium Park in downtown Chicago was the most visited, with over 20 million visitors. They also offer free summer events like live music, movie nights, and cultural celebrations. Also, downtown is best known to have multiple social environments and enough stores to go on a shopping spree. The source also reports that Downtown can be the best place to hang out for convenience, excitement, and attractions like museums, parks, dining, and entertainment.

“I agree because there are a lot of things to do like go to the beach, late-night drives, and food. A lot of people go with their friends because they want to hang out and spend time together doing something fun and exploring different activities,” Natalie Nunez said.

How ever not all students agreed with the choices as was said.

“I don’t think it’s the best place because I don’t really go to downtown or go out. I prefer going to Marshalls because of their deals. It’s very big, and they have good things to offer that I like or buy in different stores. In my opinion, I think the best place to go is the Rauw Alejandro concert,” Emily Herrera said.
