Memories: Superhero films of 2018-2019

Overall, our junior year had a lot of great movies released, but it was the superhero film that truly captured our attention. Below are some of the films released in 2018-2019.

Avengers: Infinity War is a 2018 American superhero film based on the Marvel comics. It is the sequel to two other Avenger movies and the 19th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It received a lot of good reviews and has a rating of 85% on Rotten Tomatoes. The movie earned over $2.048 billion in the box office and is currently the 5th highest-grossing film.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is also another 2018 American superhero film based on the Marvel comics. It was released in the summer of 2018 after Infinity War. It is the sequel to Ant-Man which was released in 2015. It is the 20th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It has a rating of 88% on Rotten Tomatoes. The movie earned over $6222.7 million in the box office.
 

Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse is a 2018 American computer-animated superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character Miles Morales/ Spider-Man. It is the first animated feature film in the Spider-Man franchise. It received good reviews for its animations, characters, and overall story. It has a rating of 97% on Rotten Tomatoes. The movie earned over $375.5 million in the box office.

Captain Marvel is a 2019 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Carol Danvers. It is the 21st film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and also the first female-led superhero film. It has a 78% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but the movie ranked as the fifth-highest-grossing film of 2019. It earned over $1.128 billion in the box office.

Avengers: Endgame is a 22019 American superhero film based on the Marvel comics. It is the sequel to three other Avenger movies and the 22nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This movie was widely anticipated by many and was praised for its direction, acting, visual effects, and many more. The film grossed nearly $2.8 billion worldwide, surpassing Infinity War’s entire theatrical run in JUST 11 days and breaking numerous box office records. It is currently the highest-grossing film of all time and has a 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
