Monze Garay

17-year-old Monze Garay plans on becoming an optometrist after high school.
According to Neco.edu’s ” Why optometry?,” optometrists interestingly make a positive impact every day. They also earn competitive salaries as well as work in the corporate world developing new products. In a random survey of eighth Morton East students, all eight of them said that helping others brings them joy.
‘I don’t like large amounts of blood. Being an optometrist doesn’t require working with a lot of blood,” Monze Garay senior classmate said.

Optometry is very unique in the medical field because it’s all about the eyes health and this makes the perfect job for anyone who is a bit squeamish working with blood.
