Teens go on summer vacations. Brisa Valadez enjoys summer vacations.

According to Google, summer vacations help improve interpersonal skills and form close friendships, allowing you to take safe risks and face challenges. They also aid in experiencing character growth, developing life skills, meeting positive role models, and ultimately discovering your best self. In a random survey of 10 Morton East students, 8 (or 80%) said they like to go on summer vacations, while 2 (or 20%) said they don't like to go on summer vacations.

"Summer vacations are a good way to spend time with family and friends; that's why I like to have vacations not only in the summer," Brisa Valadez said.

Morton students consider having summer vacations more fun.

"I would prefer going out and having fun over staying inside and being bored," Senior Alan Olmo said.
