Electives are the best subject of 2023, survey says.
In a random survey if 98 Morton East students, 50 students selected electives as their favorite subject.
Electives are required classes that give students the chance to select their own preferred class. Electives are classes that include Auto Mechanics, Art, Carpentry, Culinary, Music and more. Electives can also be a good way for students to explore new subjects and learn new skills. Electives give students the chance to go down a career path that isn’t part of core classes and can give job opportunities.
Many students chose electives as their favorite subject because generally students said they were fun classes and gave their opinions
“I like culinary because I get to help in events,” student Krystal Marie Magllon said.
With the remaining results surprisingly, the rest of the top three voted subjects are math in second place, and third English.

I believe that Culinary class was my favorite class. But the best one is definitely Astronomy. Learning all about space and the solar system is amazing! And the hands-on projects we do are so fun! I also took some Moon pie home one day!
