Music on your TikTok “Fyp” is the best algorithm you can have of the possible 20+ topics, a survey says.
In a random survey of 100 Morton East students, it was revealed that music-related videos are the best videos on their “For You” page.
Music videos on TikTok are the most common within the algorithm of 42 Morton East students, encompassing all types of music from country to rap. This includes promos for new songs, music videos for existing songs, and even videos of the song being made before blowing up.
“I love when my ‘For You’ page algorithm changes to music; I can literally find videos of songs I already love, and it opens me up to new genres,” said junior Jorge Sanchez.
Despite music being the favored topic in the survey, cooking secured second place with 28 Morton Students, motivational quotes came in third 12, and at the very least, we have conspiracy theories.
