The trends, music, fashion, events, and memories of junior year helped shape students’ experiences.
According to ChatGPT, in 2025, people often started their day with music, such as during their morning routine. Streaming apps like Spotify and Apple Music made it easy to listen to anytime. Many used headphones to keep music playing while walking or commuting. Playlists helped people match music to their mood or activity. Popular artists like Drake and Taylor Swift stayed in heavy rotation. Music was also widely shared on social media platforms like TikTok. Some people listened to music while exercising or at the gym. Others used music to relax or fall asleep at night. Wireless earbuds made listening more convenient throughout the day. Overall, music remained one of the most common and accessible forms of entertainment.
In a survey of seniors, most students said that music helped them throughout junior year.

“My favorite artist is Xavier Wulf. I like him because of his rap and style. It be giving short mafia category. Also, he collaborated with Pooh Shiesty,” said Fatima Evangelin, senior.

“My favorite artists are The Weeknd and Lana Del Rey. I listened to them all year. I just really like their music, style, and especially Lana. I feel like her music is calming, dark, and mysterious. And The Weeknd, he just gets me going,” said Isabella Rios, senior.
Looking back, students said junior year helped shape their friendships and experiences.
“Drake is my favorite artist because he just be speaking facts sometimes. His rap gets me crazy and gets me locked in,” said Janery Sánchez, senior.
