Many students here at Morton East High School said that their sleeping schedules did, in fact, change over spring break.
In a quick random survey of 10 Morton East students, seven students said their sleeping schedules have changed; three said it has not.
“My sleeping schedule changed in a bad way; I was staying up way more,” said senior Jesus Zenteno.
A security guard gave their opinion as well.
“For me, personally, it didn’t change, but for students it definitely affects them when they get a week off school,” said security guard Damian.
In conclusion, at Morton East, the majority of students do tend to either sleep in more or sleep the same amount they always do.
