Most students said they didn’t do any homework over spring break.
Out of 10 students, 8 said they didn’t complete schoolwork over break, while only 2 said they did. According to Google AI, students do an average of 80 minutes worth of schoolwork over spring break.
One student shared how spring break helped him unwind.
“I relaxed more over break, I didn’t even think about school,” said student Gabriel Arellano.
Adults believe that a student can forget a lot in just one week.
“Sort of like, I have AP kids who are reading a book, and they should have been reading over spring break,” said English teacher Mr. Steve Wascher.
