Flower arrangements blossom at FAME

Morton East visual art students learned floral arrangement and created beautiful bouquets in vessels created by Teresa Cantero‘s sculpture students.

Students proudly show their arrangements!

Five bouquets and vessels were auctioned off to the highest bidder at this year’s Fine Arts Morton East festival (FAME).  All bids started at $35.

“The student artists get 97% of the proceeds raised in the auction.  The rest will fund a scholarship for a student who will study art,” said art teacher Ms. Lisa Dure.

These students sold arrangements:  Nathalie Garcia, Ale Aguilar, Denice Ceniceros, Kassandra Briones, Alanis Gonzalez, Nataly Gonzalez, Angel Camrillo, Evelyn Silva, Jazmin Zarate.
