Celeste Retana
Celeste Retana is a member of the student council at Morton East.
According to Falcon Middle School’s “Student Council Overview,” student council helps students put out their ideas or concerns to teachers as well as school principals. Usually, the student council is in charge of organizing events at school and luckily anyone can join. It is a flexible club and an individual will not be penalized if not present in the meetings, although there is huge involvement in school it would be best to attend all meetings. Interestingly, on a random survey of ten Morton East students, 8 said they would join the student council.
"I really enjoy being a part of student council as it really gets me involved with helping around in the school," student council member Celeste Retana said.
