Q: How much money do you make as a truck driver?
A: I make between $3,000 and $10,000 a week, depending on how much work I have and how much I want to take on (I’m an owner-operator).

A: The money is good.
Q: How long does it take to train a person?
A: It’s not for everyone. If someone is really interested, they can pick it up quickly and start right away.
Q: After training, do you get to drive the big trucks right away?
A: Yes.
Q: How would you describe your driving record?
A: My record is super clean. I haven’t had a ticket in the past 7 years, and I’ve never been in an accident. This is important for insurance and for getting hired by companies.

A: I’ve been driving professionally for 3 years.
Q: How do you handle long hours on the road?
A: I do group calls with other trucker friends, call my girlfriend, or listen to music.
