A significant number of MEHS students bought new uniforms for the new school year.
In a random survey of 100 Morton East students, 53 students bought new uniforms for the new school year. According to Google’s AI overview, statistically, around 18.8% of students didn’t buy new uniforms for this new school year.
“I wouldn’t buy more than 1 shirt because the color is so unsightly,” said senior Leo Gutierrez.
But there’s a student that came ready for the school year. As a Morton student stated, “I like spirit wear; I did buy 3 pairs of shoes,” said senior Nick Valdez.
“I like wearing spirit wear, and every Friday I wear my soccer shirt,” said Allen Mondragon.
Lots of students own spirit wear and love Fridays because of that.
“Yes, I like spirit wear; and I bought 2 shirts,” said junior Christian Castillo.
We thought student opinions weren’t enough, so we decided to ask a staff member.
“I bought new work clothes and comfortable work shoes and 2 new pairs of work pants,” said counselor Mr. Miranda.
