Student Adrian Reza takes a significant interest in Computer Science.

According to EdWeek.org, "Only six percent of high school students in the United States take computer science classes." Adrian Reza is part of the group of teens who are aware that technology is rapidly shaping the future. He is developing computer science skills and believes he is equipping himself with tools that will be valuable in a variety of industries. With access to online resources and platforms, teenagers are developing apps, websites, and software solutions, often creating startups or side projects while still in their teenage years. In a random survey of 10 Morton East students, only 2 students were interested in learning about computer science, while 8 students said they weren't.

"Since learning about computers, my goal has been to pursue a career in computer science. There might be some challenges along the way, But I've planned my life to relate to technology and help develop new things no matter what," said Morton East Student Adrian Reza.

Computer science has captured the attention of many students and has had an impact on their career choices.

"I once thought computer science would be an interesting career choice, not realizing how much work and effort I would have to put into it. After seeing the amount of learning and extensive research required for this career path, I gave up," said Morton East student Israel Hernandez.
