The Conjuring is East’s scariest movie to watch this Halloween

According to students these movies are the scariest that they saw. From least scary to the scariest.

5. The Quiet Place (directed by John Krasinski and written by Bryan Woods and Scott Beck). Is about a family of 4 That must live in silence to avoid being killed by mysterious creatures that even from the slightest sound could be the death of them.

4. IT (directed by Andrés Muschietti and written by Stephen King). Is about an Ancient Dimensional Evil “Pennywise.” Disguised as a Clown Terrorizing Children of Derry, Maine. While the Children try to overcome their fears to defeat Pennywise.

3. Get out (directed by Jordan Peele and Written by Jordan Peele). Is about a couple Chris and Rose as she invites him to a getaway at her parents’ house and as the weekend progresses, they discover the dark truth that he didn’t see coming.

2. Hereditary (directed and written by Ari Aster). When the Matriarch of the Graham Family Passes away her daughter and grandchildren begin to unravelcryptic and increasingly terrifying secrets about their ancestry, trying to outrun the sinister fate they have inherited.

1. The Conjuring (directed by James Wan and written by Chad Hayes and Carey W. Hayes). It is about a pair of paranormal investigators and demonologists Lorraine and Ed Warren being summoned to the home of Carolyn and Roger Perron as their house is the home to an evil supernatural presence.

“Hands down the scariest movie I’ve ever seen is Hereditary; It’s disturbing on so many levels, and gruesome.  There’s one particular part where one of the characters is going through a tragic decapitation incident that kept me on the edge of my seat for 10 minutes,” english teacher Mr. Kent Frankfother said.
