Are love poems too much or just the right touch for Morton East students.

In a random survey of 50 Morton East students, 32 students reported that love poems are cheesy. Love Poems is a form of Romantic poetry in which is used to show appreciation or affection for your partner. Many people write poems for Valentine’s Day. Love poems have been around for a while and the oldest love poem found was discovered during excavations of the Mesopotamian region.

“I think it’s really how you and your partner feel about them, you should probably write one if your partner likes it,” Sophomore David Boyzo said.

Not all students share the same opin

“No because I am not really good at writing poems, not really a fan of them either,” Senior Carlos Mendoza said.”  

Here is a another student with their own opinion on love poems.

“I feel like Love poems are kind of cheesy, and I think that’s an outdated concept,” Senior Antonio Guzman said.
