Is Fright Fest worth the price? Fright Fest is an annual Halloween event at Six Flags Great America. It debuted in the Fall of 1991. Fright Fest originated at Six Flags AstroWorld in Houston, Texas, when the event was known as Fright Nights. It was an enormous success in Houston and because of this the event was expanded to all other Six Flags Theme Parks throughout the late 1980s to early 1990s. In a random survey of 100 students 65% of Morton students are planning to attend fright fest.

There were many couples at six flags wearing matching pjs. We asked people around the park whether they enjoyed their time at fright fest. “I really liked it. It’s my first Fright Fest and I came with my boyfriend,” Julissa from Chicago said. Fright fest is a great place to go with your significant other, friends, and family. The actors tend to scare larger groups of people.

We asked people around the park what is their favorite ride here at six flags. “I love Goliath, it has the best drop,” Ivan from Bolingbrook said. Goliath is a wooden costar-built June 19, 2014. The world’s tallest drop for a wooden coaster at 180 feet. Goliath is a rare ride because states like Massachusetts have closed it down.

Not everyone agrees that fright fest is worth the money. “If you’re terrified of clowns, you won’t even enjoy the experience because you will be too scared”. Angel, a close friend said. We know some people think like this because they don’t enjoy scary stuff like others. People can save the money which is $45 and go somewhere else to eat or hangout. Some people can’t afford that because they must pay bills or pay for gas.
