Bad Guy- Billie Eilish

During the song’s lyrics, Eilish taunts her lover for being a bad guy. although suggesting that she is more resilient than he is, and further touches on themes about hatred against men and sarcasm. Later on, Justin Bieber ended up doing a remix to Bad Guy. Upon its release, Bad Guy reached number one on the billboard hot 100 in the U.S.

Old Town Road-Lil Nas X

Old Town Road is a song by American rapper Lil Nas X, first released independently in December 2018. After gaining popularity, the single was re-released by Colombia Records in March 2019. Lil Nas X also recorded a remix with American country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, which was released on April 5, 2019. At the time, he had been living with his sister after dropping out of college; his real-world struggles served as an influence on some of the lyrics.

Señorita” is a song by Canadian singer Shawn Mendes and Cuban-American singer Camila Cabello. It is from Mendes’ self-titled third studio album. The song was released on June 21, 2019. he song became Mendes’ first number-one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US and Cabello’s second, after “Havana”.

I Don’t Care- Justin Bieber

I Don’t Care” is a song by English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and Canadian singer Justin Bieber. It was released on 10 May 2019 as the lead single from Sheeran’s fourth studio album, No.6 Collaborations Project. I Don’t Care peaked at number one in 26 countries.

All of these songs have something in common, these reminded me of junior year when everything was fine and we didn’t have to worry about this pandemic. They were all popular and catchy. I bet you once that you’ve sung at least one of these songs out loud or singing along with the radio. 2019 was an amazing year for music and I hope you enjoyed it as well.
