Any plans for spring break?

Many students are glad to go on spring break, meanwhile some students have events planned out.

“I am going to Iowa. That is where my family is, and I haven’t been home since July of last year,” college and career center coordinator Ms. Legel said. “(I like to) just be outside as much as possible, you know, go on walks,” she added.

“I’m going out of state, maybe Florida.  I’ll be playing ball,” senior Josiah Lopez said.

“I will be staying, sadly; I will be getting lunch with my friends, sleep and go to a doctor’s appointment,” counselor Mrs. Alvarez said.

“Going out of town!  (I will be going to) Mexico to hang out with friends,” English teacher Ms. (Ritz) Huerta said.

“Florida,” senior Sonia Hernandez said. “I’m really excited and looking forward to Disneyland!” she proclaimed.

“(I’ll be) staying in state,” senior Alexander Uribe said. “I’ll be going to the gym and catching some sleep,” he added.

“I plan on staying home and going to work,” senior Francisco said. “(I could use) extra time for myself and loved ones,” he added.

“I’m staying; I’m going to Six Flags,” senior Zaira Trujano Para said.

“Nope, no plans,” senior Fernando Araguin said. “(I’ll just be) visiting some females and getting some sleep,” jokingly he added.

“I’m staying for work,” Morton Security staff Teresa Avila said.
