On November 17, 2016 Morton East students joined after school to go on a field trip to the National Museum of Mexican Art. Students were given a presentation of the meaning of Day of the Dead and viewed and learned about different altars that were in the museum.   Students were allowed to take pictures of different paintings by Mexican artists, as well — which usually isn’t allowed in a museum.
