Morton East high school student Jonathan Hernandez is part of the Morton soccer team.
According to Facts. Net, soccer games last up to 90 minutes long at first, but if it’s a tie they have to add more time. Also the average player runs at about six miles per hour, so endurance helps with the long game. Traditionally, at least players are required to wear protection like shin guards to protect themselves from injury. In a random survey of 10 students, 6 out of 10 students like soccer. And, Jonathan may make a career out of it.
“I got requested to play for Chicago Fire,” Jonathan Hernandez said.
