In a random survey of 10 Morton East students, 6 (60%) students said they enjoy soccer, and 4 (40%) said they did not.
“When I was 6 years old, I remember seeing my dad play soccer, and ever since then, I started liking and playing soccer after school with friends,” senior student Iker Garcia said.
Iker Garcia enjoys playing soccer with friends and family. He enjoys the way it makes him feel when playing with his friends. However, for some people like Rayne Hill, playing soccer can be a traumatic experience.
“I played when I was younger, and I kept getting hit in the face, so it wasn’t a good experience for me,” senior student Rayne Hill said.
