Emmanuel Zuniga
Do you enjoy fishing?
“I enjoy fishing because I find it interesting not knowing what you’re going to catch and what you can find out there,” Emmanuel Zuniga said.
Other students would just practice fishing because they just want to eat some fish!
According to “Crystal River Sport Fishing: ‘Why Fishing for Kids is a Great After School Activity”. Fishing is a great and peaceful way to enjoy and observe nature and the wildlife that is around them. They can connect with the spaces they are fishing at and appreciate the beauty around them. “Fishingisbliss.com: ‘Psychology Of Fishing’ says “fishing increases our mental toughness, patience, and problem-solving ability” those are some pretty beneficial things for an activity that doesn’t seem too hard! Teens are not only keeping their minds engaged, but also learning about marine biology and discovering different species.
“Fishing may not be an activity that I can practice as much as I would like to, but I’m glad I started giving it at least some hours of my free days. Not gonna lie, it was hard at first because I couldn’t catch anything even though I tried and tried for hours, but to this day it is just so relaxing that I don’t bother with casting anything, I just enjoy being surrounded by the sounds of the water and just seeing how the hook is moving as the water moves, it just has helped me released most of the stress that I go through.” Emmanuel Zuniga.
Finally, here is a fun fact: even though we might assume that fishing doesn’t capture the attention of many people, there are approximately 60 million people who practice fishing in the U.S. throughout the year. Isn’t that crazy?
