Many students in Morton have been talking about Ryan Garcia and his controversies.
Garcia, who started boxing at the age of seven and always trained with his father in the family garage, was off to a lightning-fast start in the pros, delivering five knockouts in his first six fights, according to Sporting News. “You can argue no boxer has benefited from the internet more than Ryan Garcia. The 25-year-old rose to fame thanks to YouTube and has vaulted himself to the top of the boxing world thanks to his immense online following. It also helps that he holds a record of 24-1, with his lone blemish being a loss to Gervonta Davis in a catchweight battle between two undefeated fighters in April of 2023,” said the article. Ryan had started his debut at 17 and has been supported by his parents ever since.
Ryan talked about one of his experiences.
One night, Ryan went to a forest called Bohemian Grove where he claimed he was kidnapped. He told after that visit, saying he was forced to watch underage kids getting assaulted. Also, he stated he was scared to get cloned, and he didn’t want to get in trouble with anyone but just expose the truth to the world.
In a random survey of 116 Morton East students, 71 students said they knew Ryan Garcia, 41 said they don’t know who he is, and 4 said they might know. We also asked students if they thought he was under the influence of drugs. 34 students said they thought he is on drugs, while 81 other students thought he is not and had ways to support their claim.
“Everything he’s been saying, people have been trying to prove for years,” Morton student Brithany Lopez said.
Another student had a similar thing to say.
“Based on how his physique/build is, it seems that it is naturally attainable, but I would not be too sure because I don’t know about his diet and stuff like that,” Morton student Jamie Jr. Damian said.
Some students had another point of view.
“No, because he looks normal and acts normal, and they probably check him,” Morton student Rual Nuno-Sanchez said.
A student had something else to say about Ryan.
“I heard a lot of people talk about the same thing he’s been talking about, and I feel like a lot of people try to say that to hide the fact that what he’s saying might be true,” Morton Student Athalie Diaz said.
A student had one last thing to say.
“The government hides many secrets, and there are other celebrities that have spoken up against this issue,” Morton student Alexandra Manzanares said.
