MORTON VS.  GLENBARD EAST… Morton (Berwyn-Cicero) faces against Glenbard East at the Morton West field house. They faced off in the 600 meter race, known to be “a race for the bravest.”  “The 600 meter race is the hardest because if you don’t go out all hard, you are behind the competition.  And, if you go out really hard at the start, the competition will catch up because the lactic acid will kick in causing you to slow down a tremendous amount,” said senior runner Sebastian Mantilla.  A Glenbard runner actually took first place in the 600 meter.  Better luck next time, Mustangs.
