PACE BUS CRASHES….On March 15th 2022 around 12pm, the pace bus picking up passengers, which included several students from Morton East, when on its stop at 25th St, the bus got hit in the back by an unknown vehicle. Thankfully no one was hurt in this accident, in fact, students who were in the back reported not even noticing the hit, procedure still called that the bus driver had to call emergency services, and authorities soon arrived the hit. Because most if not all passengers at that point were students, Morton staff had to be called by authorities to help with the situation. Parents were called to assure their kids safety, and the bus departed soon after at around 1pm.

Knowing that students from Morton East can go through this is scary, not only because your in a bus with complete strangers but because I always see busses packed with kids from school. I remember taking the bus during my sophomore year and due to an accident I was late to school. Now, I prefer to take ubers.

This is something that is very terrifying especially that I take the bus after school to go to work and imagining a crash is scary.
