Disturbia is the best haunted house in the Chicagoland area, students say.  

A variety of spooky stories or legends have been told for many years, but the idea of haunted houses is meant to bring people’s biggest fears to life. By reaching this goal haunted houses are decorated with fake cobwebs, dust, creaking doors, spiders, dark dim lights, and even actors who are willing to make a person’s biggest fears seem realistic.  According to the article LISTVERSE, these haunted attractions have become a yearly staple for many people who celebrate All Hallow’s Eve. Also, people have entertained themselves with spooky stories for centuries, but haunted houses are different because they are inseparable from the holiday that vaulted them to cultural prominence. In a random survey of 100 students here at Morton, students reported they would want to go to a haunted house. Asking peers agreed that Disturbia is the scariest here in Illinois. 

“It was really terrifying to be surrounded by clowns and fake blood, but I would definitely go back,” student Diana Juarez said.

“The Cicero Town Hall haunted house is very friendly and less terrifying for the kids,” student Sandra Solis said.

“Not even money can convince me, to make it all the way to the end,” Andrea Vierto’s brother expressed.
