STUDENTS PAINT BIZARRE CREATURES…Pony Express reporter America Zarate finds students from Ms. Cantero’s art classes working hard during her field trip to North Riverside. “I felt that they all looked weird until the artists explained what they were, but it was fun helping them out to paint the sculptures.” She said.  According to North Riverside Mall, the project is called, “Creatures of a Dream World,” which was inspired by cultural Mexican folk art known as alebrijes. You may see them a lot during Dia De Los Muertos.
