Best Movies of 2020

Soul was the most popular movie of last year for Morton East’s students. In a random survey of 50 Morton East’s students/Cicero residents, said Soul was way more heartwarming than any other 2020 movie. Soul Made by Disney Pixar studios was actually the first ever film not to air in any movie theatres but in their television network Disney+. Soul has an astonishing 93% rotten tomatoes rate and lastly, Soul has been nominated for Outstanding Debut Feature at the Cinema Eye Honors. This is all according to https://www.rogerebert.com/ Soul has brought many Morton East students truly in their deepest thoughts about what’s next in the future.

Ashley DeLeon, Morton Senior said “Honestly this film really makes me thing if I’m even pursuing what I want in life”

I’m sure Soul has truly made an impact on out soul. Again, did Disney+ come in clutch with one of their 2020 films Clouds, came in second place along with to all the boys I’ve loved from the producers at Netflix. Both these incredible films had a tie of a 2.23 rating out of 5. To all the boys I’ve loved 2 came out with 75% rotten tomatoes and it’s rating twin Clouds came in with a little over with 76%. The Half of It, again from the producers out at Netflix came in third place with a lonely 1.87 ratting out of 5. The Half of It, a very coming of age film received many positive feedbacks due to its eye-opening LGBTQ acceptance in movies we very much do not get often from Hollywood producers. The Half of It received 97% rotten tomatoes not only that but it is 89% recommended on googles film scale.

No Matter these ratings of the films every film in 2020 was very much appreciated maybe a little more than others but they’ve gotten us through an entire pandemic and that’s truly the magic of film.
