this is really a controversial topic due to the circumstances in which many of the piercings were done. Although it also is just teenagers being teens and having fun with getting piercings. For many did this without parental permission, but to be realistic there will be many things that we will end up don’t although our parents don’t agree with it.

Although this is a controversial topic due to the circumstances in which the piercings occurred. There shouldn’t be much surprise that teenagers will rebel against parents and go against them in what they allow. For there will always be something that we do that our parents won’t like in our life as we make decisions for ourselves.

The students in this article seem to have been passionate about their piercings. I enjoyed reading about all of them. Although i wish there was more background about the girls and what lead them to making this choice.

In my opinion some piercings are cute, but it depends where you get it because sometimes it doesn’t look right having a lot of face piercings. I myself have only ear piercings & i’m going to get my tongue and nose done soon which i believe isn’t too much to get pierced. In my opinion they’re really cool, but to an extent because sometimes it can be too much.

I think that getting a piercing requires a lot of responsibility. Coming from experience, you need to know to clean it, avoid touching it, and to also avoid sleeping on it. Even with this, piercings are very pretty and sometimes that responsibility is worth it.

I think that getting a piercing on your tongue is too extreme. Piercings can be dangerous if it is not done by a professional. However, getting a piercing in your ears are better than on your tongue or on your stomach. In addition, piercings can be painful to get because they are putting a needle into your skin.

It’s crazy how one of the girls, Jesse Carillo, got the piercing that is called bridge septum. How does she even take it off to clean it? All of the young girls are so brave to do that, but the ones that leave me without any words are the ones that do their own piercings.

I enjoyed reading about other girls getting piercings. I myself am quite jealous that my parents won’t let me get one. I see piercings as a other way of expressing yourself besides tattooing. But one has to be careful when getting a piercing, it can lead to infections or rashes, if not done by a pro. I really think piercings are cool but it shouldn’t be done by yourself.

It surprised me how many students are actually getting piercings and how most of them prefer the nose piercing. The 20 year old girl that did the septum piercing is brave because it might take a long time to heal since it is on her face.

Its strange to see people with facial piercings but also cool if they’re played off correctly, Self-made piercings are risky but i mean what ever floats your boat.Small ones personally look good but hopefully no one goes overboard and gets something they’ll regret later on.

i felt the exact same way when i got my tragus piercings, i thought it was gonnna be wayyyy more painful and it wasnt as bad as i imagined. but it was still pretty painful compared to the normal lobe piercings. and you have to be really responsible when you get a piercing because you really do have to clean it on a daily or the healing process will drag

Morton student are having the love of piercings. Some have in there nose, tongue and ears. I think piercings are cool and people should have them. Piercing express people personality. People shouldn’t judge an people earring or how many piercings they got. This also remind me of me because I have 8 piercings on my ears (4 on each ear). I share the love of piercings with Morton student.

I think piercing are a bit too much. Having one or two pair is fine but a bunch is too much. Piercing on face i have are problem with them. I think earring are fine but a bunch of piercing i don’t think so. what is it about piercings.

I enjoyed reading this article because it was really interesting reading about girls at morton, some girls had interesting piercings which i would never get. I have although made my own 2nd piercing as well like the other girl who did it herself.

I never really pay a lot of attention to the fact that many adolescents get many piercings. I find it crazy the girl that got her bridge septum. It looks like it really hurt. How do you even sleep? Moreover, how do you take care of it? Not going to lie, it take a lot to get that piercing especially since people can judge you because you got one of the piercings that people don’t tend to get.

I find it fascinating how these girls all got some pretty painful piercings and their parents didn’t get upset by it. My parents would of been very upset if I did it without their permission. Also i am very passionate about piercings. I have 4 piercings on my ears and i want to get some more because i feel they give you a sense of style and personality. Although they are painful they are very worth it at the end when they’re healed and pretty.
