Two-way tie for most influential rapper in 2021

The impact of today’s rap artist never ceases to amaze, as this year’s most influential rappers was Drake and Lil Baby.

Drake and Lil Baby was the most influential rappers of 2021, survey says. In a random survey of 50 Morton East students, 80% selected Drake and Lil Baby as the most influential with a tie.

Drake he’s been viewed as one of the “goats” of Hip-Hop; he averaged 8.6 billion streams in 2021 making him #1 in the US followed by Lil Baby’s 3.93 billion streams. Drakes album CLB (Certified Lover Boy) sold 613k in the US beating Donda by Kanye West by 300k sales. Lil Baby’s album “The Voice of the Heroes featuring Lil Durk sold 200k in 2021.

In second place was Lil Durk, in third place was Polo G, and in last place was Rod Wave.
