Morton East has its own Veteran’s memorial right in the lobby of its historic Chodl Auditorium.  Five commemorative plaques commemorate 243 Morton East soldiers who died serving their country.  Memorial plaques are mounted in a row outside the doors of the auditorium  for World War I, World War II, the Korean War,  the Vietnam War and the Gulf War.   Here they are for a closer look:
