The most watched Netflix series of the year were very different to each other, from animated films to horror shows about death to shows mostly about comedy.

Arcane is the best Netflix series of 2021, survey says. In a random survey of 50 Morton East students, 21 selected Arcane as their favorite Netflix series to watch in 2021.

The series was first announced during the 10^th league of Legends Anniversary and is in the works for a second season which is going to take a couple of months. The 2 main characters of the series are two characters from a game called League of Legends and the two characters are sister’s named VI and Jinx. When the series’ first came out of Netflix it was the No. 1 English language the first week it was out and it reach 38.4 million hours watched on Netflix between November 15 to November 21.

Following the series “Arcane”, the second best Netflix series was “Squid Game” which gained massive popularity after its first years of launch on Netflix. Third place was “HellBound”. Fourth place was “The Witcher”, and fifth place was “Seinfeld”.
