The top responses that Morton East students chose for the best pop song of 2019 were related to love.

In a split decision, Adore You is the best pop song of 2019, survey says. In a random survey of 50 Morton East students, 15 selected Adore You as their favorite pop song.

Adore You by Harry Styles was released as a single followed by his album Fine Line, which was the first Billboard 200 #1 album of the 2020’s decade. The track features Harry speaking about the love and passion he would give to his significant other, and the extent he would go for his lover.

Second place was Callaíta by Bad Bunny, third place was Thank u, next by Ariana Grande, fourth place was Bad Guy by Billie Eilish, and in the last place was Señorita by Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes.
