So you want to be a Registered Nurse
There several schools that offer a nursing program but some of them only offer associate and bachelor’s, and masters. Others only offer an associate’s degree and a bachelor. To start in a nursing career all you’ll need is your high school diploma, you can be part of a CNA team. A CNA is an assistant that helps a nurse while being under her supervision. To become a nurse you will need 2 years of college and technical training or 4 years of college/ university. To be a lever one nurse you will need your Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and a state license. They make from $45,000 to $65.000 a year. To become a head nurse you must be an experienced staff nurse and you will need your master’s degree, they make from $65,000 to $80,000 a year. Morton is the best way to go if you’re just going for an associate’s degree. The cost will be from $3,000 to $4,000. If you get financial aid help it would definitely be a great help. Chamberlain University is a private university and cost $24,843. Stay away from these schools.
Q. While attending college, what was the thing you struggled the most with?
A. When I was in college, I struggled more in math class than any other class. That has always been a struggle for me. Also, having to be a full-time student and having a part-time job was a challenge. I only had weekends off and that was the time I used to study or work on assignments. Everyone’s different so it depends on the classes you take and how you chose to do things.
Q. What is the most challenging thing about being a nurse?

A. Becoming a nurse was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I love meeting new people every day and being able to help them out. I also like how it’s not a job where you sit down all day and do the same thing over and over again, being a nurse you’re active and doing different tasks.
