Many private and public universities in Illinois offer a four-year bachelor’s degree or a 2-year associate degree in nursing. The least expensive tuition seems to be at Morton college for $ 3,892 in state and they offer an associate degree. However, UIC offers a 4-year bachelor’s degree in nursing. Tuition at UIC would run you about $25,946 in state and $10,882 for boarding. However, Chicago state university also offers a 4-year bachelor’s degree at $20,370 since Morton college only offers an associated degree in nursing.

Introduction of who he is.
I am a 68C/ 68W which is a nurse and a combat medic in the United States Army and I’m also working as an intern in a hospital,  

What do you do in the hospital or in the Army? 

I help the patients that have been injured and reassure them that everything will be alright. 

Where are you from and what is your occupation? 

 I am a native to Chicago and I got into the army 2yrs ago and this is going to be the first time I get deployed. 

What do you believe has created this much success for you in the nursing department?
A successful characteristic must be attention to detail and charisma because you meet different people with different situations, so you must know what to say and what to do to gain their trust.  

Do you believe the skills you have earned will help you with another job? 

There is only one job that would require the skills I have gained and that’s a doctor.  

Why did you choose Nursing? 

I choose this career because I wanted to give back to the community and help people overcome obstacles in their lives. 

Have you ever considered something else besides Nursing? 

 I never consider being a doctor especially not in the army I have met and worked with doctors and they have little to no interaction with the patients. 

 How do you believe these skills have improved your life outside of nursing?
Time management is easy for me now I learned that I can’t waste time people’s lives depend on me.
