Have you ever deleted a post/story from your social media because it didn’t get as many likes as you were expecting? Don’t worry, you are NOT alone!
In a recent random survey of 107 Morton students, 67 have deleted a post before. On the other hand, 40 said they have not. According to the internet, people delete social media posts due to trying to maintain a positive online image, fear of negative judgment, insecurity or because they’re reposting later, but the main cause is because it didn’t meet their expectations.
“Da verguenza que solo tenga como 10 likes mientras mis otros posts tengan muchos mas,” Morton East student Magaly Vargas said.
