Setting goals isn’t about creating a perfect future, it’s about building a better version of yourself, step by step.
Many Morton East students seem to agree that setting goals can change yourself.
In a random class survey, 11 out of 13 Morton East students said they would set goals.
This shows that students do set goals to make a better version of themselves:
“(I have a goal this year of) making my own clothes and selling them online,” said sophomore Naomi Ramirez.
“(I plan to) confront someone when they’re wrong,” said junior Sarah Lopez.
“I want to think about my decisions and what I value,” said senior Samantha Martinez.
“I would go on an adventure like hiking,” said teacher Ms. Ellison.
“I would eat healthier and be more mindful,” said Itzel Gonzalez, a parent of a Morton East student.
As you can see mostly everyone sets goals they want to accomplish and improve so they can be a better version of themselves.
