About a quarter of Morton East may have visited Mexico over break.

In a random class survey, 6 out of 24 Morton East students said they have gone to Mexico over break. This shows that many people plan a trip to Mexico over break.

“I went to Mexico with all my family. We visited Ixtapa in Mexico. We went to a waterpark festival as well,” said sophomore Joseph Medina.

“I went with my family over there. The part that I went to visit was Durango. The reason I went to was to visit family that I haven’t seen in a long time,” said junior Alex Gonzalez.

“I went with my parents to Mexico. We went to visit Durango. The reason I went to was to have fun over there and because of all the festivals they have going on during this time of the year,” said senior Adrian De Santiago.

“I went with my wife and two kids. I went to visit Jalisco. The reason was to visit my mom, brothers, and sisters,” said Luis.

“The weather was very humid and hot. I wanted to spend time with my family. We went to see a band perform,” said Venessa, a parent of a Morton East student.

As you can see, many people plan a trip to Mexico over the break.
