Students at Morton East apparently didn’t do much shopping since the beginning of 2025.
In a random class survey, 8 out of 19 Morton East students said they bought and wore a new fashion trend since the start of the new year. During the survey, students reacted with surprise, laughs, and smiles because most of them had not purchased any trending items since the start of 2025.

Here’s what people had to say about the topic:

“The best places to shop for new fashion trends are the Nike store and the UGG store because they’re really popular,” said sophomore Isabelle Vargas.

“Since the start of 2025, I have bought 10 things. I bought 2 pairs of shoes, a lot of tops, and jeans,” said junior Evelyn Delgado.

“The must-haves for 2025 are Lululemon clothing, Kurt Geiger bags, and items from Tory Burch,” said senior Marilin Romero.

“Fashion brands I have purchased since the start of 2025 include Lululemon for cute workout sets and Coach for cute shoulder bags,” said Spanish teacher Esmeralda Ortiz.

“Facebook and TikTok are what keep me updated with fashion trends,” said Sandra Sanchez, a parent of a Morton East student.
