Morton Mustangs students believe in paranormal activity because of personal experiences they have faced in their lives.

According to a random survey, 44% of students believe in ghosts, 17% are undecided in their beliefs, and 17% don’t believe in ghosts at all. The Quora website clarifies, “Ghosts in stories often appear at night or around midnight for several reasons, like the atmosphere and mood.”

The website ghostsandgravestones.com states that ghosts often visit to comfort you or let you know something important. If you happen to see a lost loved one, chances are they are there because they feel you want or need to see them.

“Yeah, one time when I was home alone and watching TV, the channels started changing by themselves. It went from Disney Channel to the news, and then I started hearing things in the hallway. My dog started barking at the hallway where the noises were coming from, and my dog never barks at all,” said civics teacher Nathalie Guerrero.

The mind can also play tricks, especially in low-light conditions or when people are in a heightened emotional state, Quora.com informed.
