Teachers get free coffee every late start!
May 15, 2023
Mhmmm good! Mr. Assay (English teacher) Mr. Gamboa, and Bonnie Gloriso enjoy a coffee in the teacher’s café. Teachers have been provided with free coffee, compliments of Mr. Gamboa during all late starts this year. According to lunch lady Bonnie, teachers drink 130 to 140 cups on those days. (No wonder they’re so “energized” on late starts!)

This is so great! I wish West would do it also.

I can’t believe that they don’t. This was suggested by the social committee a couple years ago. (I think you were a member, Ms. Judge!)

that’s nice of them and all to get free coffee because I know the teachers need it to wake up and teach us students can be a lot to handle. it would be nice if the students get coffee as well for some kids who have 0 hour since they have to wake up early and be at the school

“According to lunch lady Bonnie, teachers drink 130 to 140 cups on those days” I am very surprised the number isn’t higher. Teachers always have a flask and I always think it has coffee so I’d expect the number to be around 300ish.

Thats great for them and all.. but students should get coffee too were all tired and coffee in the mornings for students can be a great way to energize us as well.

my name is adan esquivel
this sounds nice but i think students should also get coffee too. some students like coffee coffee can help students focus and specially since winter is coming up students deserve at least hot chocolate.

i think students should also have free coffee every late start or maybe a dollar coffee? if this were to happen it would somewhat help with schools expenses and also might help us students come to school early because i would if there was coffee served at school and i also want to try coffee and also be energized for the day.

O’Malley, I agree this is why our teachers are so energized on late starts while others might be a lil tired.
