Students have stopped vaping
December 4, 2019
Maybe it’s the knowledge that vaping is killing people, but the majority of students at East say they have stopped vaping.
In a random survey of 100 Morton East students, 66 said they have not vaped this month, and 34 said they have vaped this month.
“Their isn’t enough studies that Vaping is bad, and also I’m not at the age of smoking, it effects you in lack of studies,” senior Leonardo Guadardo said.
While some students don’t vape because of studies, others don’t vape because of sports.
“I don’t vape because I’m a hooper and I need my body to be healthy for sport,” Senior Joshua K. Willis said.
While many don’t vape, others like to smoke.
“I love smoking, and blazing mad kush,” sophomore Jonathan Belmontes said.

Frankfother Error “knowledge that vaping is killing people,” how many people have actually died from vaping?

I feel that you should have asked a staff member on their opinion because students will sometimes joke about this type of topics.

Frankfother- Vaping or smoking is something I wouldn’t risk because it can possibly cause damage in the future.
