How many students have gotten jobs through Morton East’s related instruction work program? 

Students sometimes get more than one job through Morton East’s work program.  At the beginning of the year, some jobs don’t work out due to driving too far. Students may need jobs close to home. 

“In summer of spring, Wrigley needs people to help park and many opportunities including checking tickets and games + concerts,” Ms. Belos said. The people in Wrigley (Levy Restaurants) are finding new employees to work at Wrigley Field in the spring to start up a game or a concert during Cubs games or concerts.

Where are some places, students could find work? Are there specific places coming to school to conduct on-site interviews? 

“Social restaurants in North Riverside Mall (hire our students).  And, guest speakers from other businesses with opportunities are featured as related instructions guest speakers.  Brookfield Zoo hires students each year,” Ms. Belos said.

Many places have specific positions; students can apply to work if they’re in a work program — so they can go to school and go to work after.
