The majority of students want something new to wear this Christmas.
In a random survey of 100 Morton East students, most boys wanted shoes, and most girls wanted clothes. Other students chose makeup, video games, Stanley cups, cologne, and jewelry. Here’s the breakdown:
- 34 students want shoes (20 boys, 14 girls).
- 20 students want clothes (15 girls, 5 boys).
- 17 students want jewelry (12 boys, 5 boys).
- 12 students want makeup.
- 10 students want cologne.
- 5 students want video games (1 girl, 4 boys).
- And, 2 students want Stanley Cups.
A student mentioned a game they wanted this Christmas.
“Black Myth: Wukong because it’s one of the best games of the year,” said senior Angie Molina. This item can be bought at GameStop for $60.
Another student chose differently.
“Hideout cat so my beautiful bunny gets to have a new hideout,” said senior Jaslene Sida. The item can be bought at Target, Walmart, or any pet shop for $25.
Another student said,
“Stanley is a great gift because it keeps your water really cold for hours and keeps you hydrated,” said senior Mariana España. This item can be bought at Target, Dick’s Sporting Goods, or online.
To summarize, most students prefer shoes and clothes, while other students wanted essentials like makeup, Stanley cups, cologne, jewelry, and video games.
