Thought counts more than cost this holiday

This holiday, the students of Moron East do not care how much money they spend on their significant other during Christmas time.

According to the padlet where the students answered the questions that were given, most of the students kept saying how when you really love someone there is no limit to anything because what truly matters is the thought that counts. Everyone believes that the price of the gift should not even be an issue as long as their partner knows the value of what is given to them, because it was given to them with a lot of love. It is true, the thought someone puts into a gift is unbelievable because they basically argue with themselves, “what if it is not good enough, what if they don’t like it” and so on.  But, the intention is what matters and that is what Morton East students believe.

“In my opinion, price doesn’t matter because I believe it’s the thought that counts when you see someone go out of their way to get you something you appreciate the fact they thought of you when looking at the item or what they made, “ Senior Ketzaly Ocampo said.

Other students disagree, they think 50$ is a decent limit because those 50$ you should have gotten enough for your partner.

“Honestly, I think like $50 max. I think you can get really creative, like do a self-care box, or just something that would make them feel cared for,” Senior Elijah Rodriguez said.
