Mostly pumpkin yuk at East

Students at Morton East mostly hate pumpkin spice, it seems.

In a random survey of 150 Morton East students in class and on Snapchat,  a surprising 135 students said they did not like pumpkin spice, and only 15 students did like pumpkin spice.

Here at Morton East kids stated they didn’t like pumpkin spice because it was so sugary.  Those that did like it said it gives them “fall vibes.”  It seems to be most enjoyed as the flavoring in the drinks from Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts, as well as in their donuts.  We noticed most students don’t like pumpkin spice due to it tasting “more like cinnamon” which apparently to some is “gross.”

“I don’t think it’s good at all, and it’s so gross,”  one student from East said.

Not everyone hates it though.

“I like pumpkin spice because it’s so good.  It gives me fall vibes, and I enjoy the weather that comes with it,”  senior Heidi Roman said.
