Free, discounted meals for Veteran’s on November 11

Many restaurants honor veterans by giving them free or discounted meals on Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2022.

Here is a list of local restaurants showing their thanks with dinner specials.  Note to veterans:  many ask for a valid military ID, so be sure to bring one!

  • Ihop:-This year on Friday, November 11, IHOP will be honoring veterans and active military men and women with a free stack of Red, White, and Blueberry pancakes.
  • Starbucks-Starbucks is honoring veterans, active duty service members, and military spouses this year for Veterans Day by offering a free coffee on Friday, November 11, 2022.
  • Hooters – Active Duty and retired military are offered a 10% discount with a valid military ID.
  • Pizza Hut – Offers a 10% off discount for active duty and retired military with valid military ID.
  • Texas Roadhouse – 10% Discount off of military member meal, not for family, Military ID required, cannot be combined with other offers, available to active or retired officers.
  • Baskin-Robbins – Baskin-Robbins offers a 5% discount for active duty members and first responders
  • Chuck E Cheese – Chuck E Cheese offers military food packages.  Their military offers include ‘The Alpha’, which is a large 1 topping pizza, 4 drinks, and 45 play points ($28.99), and ‘The Bravo”, which is 2 large 1-topping pizzas, 4 drinks, and 100 play points for $46.99.
  • Participating Chick-fil-A restaurants offer specials for the military on Veterans Day.
  • Some McDonald’s franchises offer military discounts or a free meal on Veteran’s Day.  Ask at the counter!
  • Popeyes offers a 10% discount
  • Starbucks gives a free 12-ounce coffee with a limit of one per customer
  • Sonic offers a 10% discount with proof of a military ID
  • Some Burger King locations offer 10% discounts with proof of military ID
  • Dunkin’ Donuts offers 10% off coffee and donuts
  • Some KFC locations offer discounts with proof of military ID
